Stem Cell Training

At WiCell we strive to offer cutting-edge technical training to scientists from all around the world. In the light of all the new scientific advances in the field of stem cells, we have revised our technical courses. We have introduced novel techniques such as culturing of both hES and Induced Pluripotent Stem (iPS) cells, generation of embryoid bodies in mTeSR medium as well as large scale production of embryoid bodies using the Aggrewell^TM plates. The new technical advancements and additions to our courses have resulted in an increase in course fees.

Expert Stem Cell Instruction

The teaching staff at WiCell provides technical expertise and qualified assistance throughout the course. WiCell courses offer a teacher:student ratio of 1:3. This low ratio is conducive to learning, and for that reason, we restrict the size of classes. Course instructors are well versed in culturing hES cells on a daily basis and are therefore qualified to address the many difficulties encountered when working with these cells. Upon completion of the class, our skilled instructors and technical support team are able to offer further assistance. Class participants receive additional support materials, including protocols used during the course and a range of print materials relevant to topics covered in the class.
