Successfully culturing human embryonic stem (hES) cells is challenging. To help stem cell researchers around the world achieve their goals, WiCell offers in-depth courses that provide detailed, hands-on instruction in hES cell culture methods and the first steps toward differentiation.

The teaching staff at WiCell provides technical expertise and qualified assistance throughout the course. WiCell courses offer a teacher:student ratio of 1:3. This low ratio is conducive to learning, and for that reason, we restrict the size of classes. Course instructors work with hES cells on a daily basis at WiCell Research Institute and are qualified to address the many difficulties encountered when working with these cells. Upon completion of the class, our skilled instructors and technical support team are able to offer further assistance. Class participants receive additional support materials, including protocols used during the course and a range of print materials relevant to topics covered in the class.
