Overview of the Ordering Process
Ordering stem cells is a bit more complicated than ordering other products online due to the required legal agreements for the materials as well as the specialized shipping requirements to ensure your cells arrive to you safely and ready to use. For those reasons, after placing your order, there are some required administrative steps that have to be completed before we can ship you your cells. Here is a brief overview of the ordering process.

1. Find Your Cells
To find the cell line you would like to order, browse or search our online catalog or cell line collections. You may also wish to search our publication hub to find published research on a specific topic that links back to the WiCell products used in that publication.

2. Place Your Order
When you are ready to add a cell line to your cart, create your account and/or login and place the cell line in your cart.

3. Check Out
Once you have selected the cell lines of interest, proceed to your cart to check out. Please note that while we ask for the form of payment at this step for accounting purposes, we will not collect payment during this process. You will be billed once the agreements have been signed and received and the product has been shipped. Please note that for legal reasons we can not accept purchase order payments for stem cell orders.

4. Submit MOU/SLA Agreements
Once your order is placed, you will receive an automated email containing a checklist and links to specific agreements. These must be completed and returned in order to continue processing your order. Depending on the cell lines you have ordered, you may have the MOU-SLA or an MTA and possibly ancillary documents. Please see our FAQ page for more detailed information.

5. Submit Payment
Once we have received your completed agreements, a final invoice, including shipping will be sent to you. To proceed with shipping your cells, payment must have been received and successfully processed.

6. Confirm Shipping Information
Once your agreements have been signed and your payment is processed, a WiCell Stem Cell Bank team member will confirm your shipping address and schedule a shipping date that is convenient for your laboratory.

7. Receive Stem Cells
Your cells will ship on the date you confirmed. You will receive an email the morning your cells are shipped with your shipment tracking number.
