As a Senior Cytogenetics Technologist at WiCell Katrina focuses on chromosome and FISH analysis.  Katrina began working the the Cytogenetics field in 2003.  The majority of her career has been spent performing FISH analysis on paraffin embedded solid tumors and in the FISH wet laboratory.  Her most recent experience included the startup of the therapeutic drug monitoring lab within Inform Diagnostics, where drug and antibody level testing was offered to patients on biologic treatment for Crohns and Ulcerative Colitis.  Katrina holds her Bachelor's Degree in Biology and her ASCP Certification in Cytogenetics. 

Katrina's favorite thing about WiCell is the focus on work-life balance. 

She has twin boys who keep her on her toes.  Her family loves to spend time outdoors and they especially enjoy cruising around on their bikes.
