We have storage options tailored to meet your specific needs. Non-cGMP Services and GLP storage are available by the box (standard 25 vial or 100 vial cryo boxes) in our auto-filled CryoGuard™ class of liquid nitrogen tanks from CryoSafe. All materials are maintained in vapor phase, and boxes are exclusive to each client. Storage tank selection options include general research, xeno-free, and non-human tanks.

Secure transfer and storage maintains the cold chain to ensure the quality of your research materials. From your dock to ours, we monitor the shipment in real-time assuring that temperatures are maintained, and alerting the transport response team to intervene if any issues are evident. Upon receipt, clients are notified immediately and material is entered into WiCell's Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS), tracking each vial to the specific box location, rack, and tank.

Storage rooms are climate controlled with appropriate circulation and ventilation to maintain optimum operation of all LN₂ tanks. WiCell utilizes a continuous monitoring system that provides temperature tracking 24 hours a day, with data backed up nightly. Comprehensive preventive maintenance on the monitoring system and LN₂ tanks is performed regularly. Back-up power systems immediately activate in the event of a power failure, and our emergency response team is on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, year-round.
