As a Cytogenetics Specialist with WiCell, Dawn works remotely from her home in New Mexico analyzing chromosomes from human, mice, and cancer cell lines and providing karyotypes of the representative cells. Prior to working for WiCell Dawn worked in cytogenetics at Vivigen/Integrated/Genetics/Genzyme/LabCorp for 23 years.  18 of those years was in cancer cytogenetics and the last 5 were in constitutional blood cytogenetics.  Dawn holds her Bachelor of Science in Biology and CLSpCG (Clinical Laboratory Specialists in Cytogenetics).

Outside of work Dawn is currently renovating an older home she and her husband purchased when they fell in love with the amazing backyard and swimming pool. She also enjoys traveling and spending time with her adult children and black lab.
