Katie Remondini, Senior Cell Culture Specialist
As a Senior Cell Culture Specialist, you can find Katie in the lab creating cell banks for the WiCell Stem Cell Bank, performing QC testing, and preparing core reagents for distribution on the UW Madison campus. In addition as part of the WiCell Stem Cell Bank team, Katie also assists with the distribution of stem cell lines to researchers worldwide. Prior to joining WiCell Katie worked for Meriux Nutrisciences as a Microbiology Technician where she was responsible for sample preparation and at Primorigen Biosciences as a Stem Cell Technician where she performed QC testing, maintained stem cells, and production and R&D. Katie earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Biological Sciences from Edgewood College and Stem Cell Technician Certificate from Madison College. At WiCell she enjoys the friendly work environment and team-oriented atmosphere. Outside of the lab, Katie loves to read and play board games.
