Erik Kremers, Cell Culture Quality Assurance Assistant

Erik’s first job was for a city water utility department where he had a range of duties from pitching asphalt off a truck to televising sewers for pipe damage. After a few part-time jobs during college, Erik was able to find an internship at Enviro-Safe Resource Recovery, which was a recycling, and storage facility that deals with hazardous and non-hazardous waste. Most of his time spent at Enviro-Safe consisted of writing SOPs and making sure procedures were compliant with EPA and DOT laws.  He graduated from Milwaukee School of Engineering with a Bachelor of Science.  As a Cell Culture Quality Assurance Assistant at WiCell Erik is responsible for tracking and reviewing the testing reports and releasing the cell lots.  He also writes investigate reports and updates the cell line information in our LIMS system and website.  Erik loves the pride each of WiCell’s employees have for the services WiCell provides.

Fun Fact: In college, Erik once dressed as Justin Bieber for a costume contest.
